Today we went to the Blue Lagoon!



































After we went to a take away inside a corner shop and had a gorgeous sandwich and fries!

We went for another walk around Reykjavik starting with taking in the view from the top of the church.

























We went on a trip to see the northern lights (which had been cancelled earlier in the week because of the weather). As we were driving the tour guide could see it out of the window so we pulled over as soon as possible and then watched and took photos for an hour.

Today we went on a golden circle tour. We started at the tomato greenhouse






Then to Geysir to see Strokkur










Then we went to Gullfoss waterfall.





Then we went to Thingvellir national park where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Unfortunately while we were here there was a blizzard! It was not a pleasant walk and on the way back we saw some cars which had gone off the road and e,regency vehicles out.












We have NO idea what it looks like from the top!

But it was our anniversary so we had some bubbly and went for a lovely meal at Osta Budin.













And crepe for pudding.

When we woke today it was snowing!!







We had breakfast and a super long walk around Reykjavik.









And we ended up in Cafe Loki to have some Icelandic food. The shark was not great, it tasted a bit like bleach.
