Straight to the Cape this morning after the worlds most massive breakfast at ihop.
This afternoon we went to Hyannis for a walk around the shops were we bought me some earrings and got some salt water taffy. Then we went to the beach to sit and have a read while the sunset then popped for a walk along the harbor which was lovely before popping to Olive Garden for a massive but necessary salad!
We went to Sandwich where we spent hours swimming and sunbathing. The water was clear but full of pebbles and when we were swimming I saw a massive crab scuttle by.
Sadwich town doesn't have much but there is a lovely boardwalk.

We started the day at Yankee Cadle which is really the most amazing place I earth! It has a Bavarian village and it snows every 4 minutes. It's amazing!
Then we went to Mystic Seaport which is another living museum but this time about a. It was quite expensive but you could have spent hours there if it wasn't a million degrees (and there was no shade). It was really good though.
For tea we had a KFC $5 two piece meal with biscuits and mash and a cookie. I think it's much better than at home but Paul thinks it's weird that they for offer chips.

After we went to the Hancock Shaker Museum which was fabulous. It's a living history museum and it's brill for a wander around.
We arrived at the Yankee Candle Village just as it shut so we're heading back there tomorrow.
Just enough time left for a trip to Cracker Barrel!

We started our day with a trip to a maple farm and I have to say that maple syrup is now my favourite food. Especially maple cream! YUMMY!
We also stopped at a local Labor Day fete in Northfield where we got some yummy maple cotton candy!
For tea we had sushi. It was pretty good too :)

A little bit of driving today. On the way out of the white mountains we stopped at The Basin which is a natural hole in the rock formed by glaciers. It was beautiful - but no swimming permitted.
We stopped at Walmart (of course) and this time bought some fabric. Now we're trying to spot Moose!

We've taken it a bit easier today so this morning we went to the Lost River Gorge and Caves. Some of the caves were so tiny that there was no way I was going in them but we did do a couple on our hands and feet.
This afternoon we found a swimmin' hole which was amazing! Absolutely freezing, but amazing!

And Arcadia is AMAZING! Been swimming even though it was freezing in the water (it was boiling out of the water so I guess it evens out), and seen some amazing sights!!
Today we've been to walk round the lovely Bar Harbor at night and been to Stewman's Lobster Pound for fire clams, fresh steamed maine lobster and whoopie pies!! Yummy!!

First thing we went to a Walmart to get some snack. It was humongous!
We drive up the US1 having a look at the sights and stopping at a few places on the way.
First big stop was the L.L. Bean flagship shopping campus. It was fab the shop had a massive welly/leather boot outside (which seems to be all the rage I the shops) and I bought a half price candle at the Yankee Candle shop.
Unbelievably, we stopped to have a look at a massive suspension bridge we were about to cross only to discover we were a mile from Fort Knox! Can you believe it! It was free to get in but it was super creepy.

We left Buffalo super easy to go to the airport, we had a layover in Philladelphia where we had a Philly Cheese Steak:
The we went on to Boston were we checked into our hotel then took a "15-20 minute" walk which actually took us an hour and a half. We did pass an amazing church which was playing Abide with Me in the bell tower (Paul thought it was creepy).
We walked through the parks to the Quincy Market where we had clam chowder in bread bowls - yummy!

Today we got up early and it was super misty.
We had THE most amazing breakfast in front of the falls:
The we went out walking we went down the inline railway which gave us a really great view of our hotel:

After that we went back to the room and had a bit of a nap.
We walked through town and put the other end to the furthest end of the Canada park and walked back to the falls.
For tea we went to the Keg steakhouse where we are THE most amazing steaks of all time. Actually it might be the best meal we've EVER had!
During the day we noticed that there were fireworks for the next two weeks which started tonight do we went down and watched it while it rained!

Today we flew out from Heathrow to Boston Logan. Thankfully we stayed in a little pod in the easy hotel.
Then a 6 hour flight to Boston. Then a 8 1/2 layover before catching our buffalo plane. During which time we trie to help someone to catch their connection by repeatedly letting them in from of us in the immigration and custom lines. I hope she made it. And we had a huge (small) iced tea!
We arrived in Buffalo at 9:30 picked up our car and headed to our amazing hotel. This is the view from the window.
