Straight to the Cape this morning after the worlds most massive breakfast at ihop.

We went to Sandwich where we spent hours swimming and sunbathing. The water was clear but full of pebbles and when we were swimming I saw a massive crab scuttle by.

Sadwich town doesn't have much but there is a lovely boardwalk.

This afternoon we went to Hyannis for a walk around the shops were we bought me some earrings and got some salt water taffy. Then we went to the beach to sit and have a read while the sunset then popped for a walk along the harbor which was lovely before popping to Olive Garden for a massive but necessary salad!

(And pasta)

We started the day at Yankee Cadle which is really the most amazing place I earth! It has a Bavarian village and it snows every 4 minutes. It's amazing!

Then we went to Mystic Seaport which is another living museum but this time about a. It was quite expensive but you could have spent hours there if it wasn't a million degrees (and there was no shade). It was really good though.

For tea we had a KFC $5 two piece meal with biscuits and mash and a cookie. I think it's much better than at home but Paul thinks it's weird that they for offer chips.

We spent the entire afternoon on the beach in 90+ weather! LUSH!

Covered bridge your today! Woo hoo! And how's this for a place to picnic!!

After we went to the Hancock Shaker Museum which was fabulous. It's a living history museum and it's brill for a wander around.

We arrived at the Yankee Candle Village just as it shut so we're heading back there tomorrow.

Just enough time left for a trip to Cracker Barrel!

We started our day with a trip to a maple farm and I have to say that maple syrup is now my favourite food. Especially maple cream! YUMMY!

Today we have been on a dicey back lane tour of covered bridges woo hoo!

We also stopped at a local Labor Day fete in Northfield where we got some yummy maple cotton candy!

And we found an even more scary swimming hole. Yes, Paul jumped from that big rock, no, I jumped from the little baby rock to the left where the 10 year olds were jumping from! Notice the 20ft falls on the left!!

For tea we had sushi. It was pretty good too :)

A little bit of driving today. On the way out of the white mountains we stopped at The Basin which is a natural hole in the rock formed by glaciers. It was beautiful - but no swimming permitted.

We stopped at Walmart (of course) and this time bought some fabric. Now we're trying to spot Moose!

We found another water hole this time Fosters Water Hole 44.50587 -72.75804

Stowe, VT where we could jump in. I did jump in but Paul jumped three times. It was absolutely freezing!

We've taken it a bit easier today so this morning we went to the Lost River Gorge and Caves. Some of the caves were so tiny that there was no way I was going in them but we did do a couple on our hands and feet.

This afternoon we found a swimmin' hole which was amazing! Absolutely freezing, but amazing!
