We had a late breakfast followed by a swim in the hotel. Our great plan for today was a trip up the Rauschbergbahn (Rauschberg Cable Car). It was both terrifying and amazing.
After we had a well earned pint and currywurst (Paul had a cola and weißbier - lush) and headed to the Ruhpolding Christmas market to see it opened by the mayor.

Boxing Day is a holiday in Germany and so most places were still closed today however we had a wander through town and had a trip to Vita Alpina which has a wonderful heated outdoor pool.
After swimming we had a lovely meal in a cafe in town, then met up with Nonna and Pops and enjoyed some mulled wine.
