This morning we had a bit of a slow start. We slept so well we didn't want to get up and then the gas wouldn't work (turned out we plugged in the fridge not the stove). We had an all day breakfast on toast and spam sandwich and then tried to inflate the tires of the bike. After we managed all that it started to rain! Bad!

So instead of cycling to the ferry we went shopping in Sluise.

We had a Croque-Monsieur and some lovely frites.

Everywhere we go everyone always speaks perfect English! "Do you speak English?", "Of course"!

Everything here is super pretty. All the streets are cobbled and all the buildings look lovely.

Even the road (such as they are) are lovely. (The roads are only about a car width because each side has a cycle path - there is barely anyone on the roads though.)

We also went shopping in Lidl (mostly to pick up some fritessaus) and went to Breskens to the super market (mostly for rosé bier).

This evening we had burgers and salad and some kind of fish/meat/humous type thing. We also had cheese and bacon in a sweet pancake - I guess that's what happens when you don't speak the language, and we had chocolate pancakes! Yummy!
